A champion is afraid of losing.
Everyone else is afraid of winning.
A champion is someone who gets up when he can't.
Champions are not the ones who always win races - champions are the ones who get out there and TRY.
This saying applies to the Champions of Mother’s Pet Kindergarten.
Sports Day is one of the many most awaited events of Mother’s Pet Kindergarten. With high spirits and air filled with anticipation, it is a day to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition. Little children along with their parents and teachers come together as one big team, cheering and supporting each other. Our little ones embrace the importance of participation, learn life lessons, forge friendships, and make memories. Memories which stay with them forever!
Sports are one of the many mediums through which we train our children handling physical and emotional challenges — from jumping, crawling, crossing hurdles, committing mistakes, overcoming weaknesses and even accepting failures.
Annual Sports Day for the session 2023-24 was one such remarkable day, where inspired with the 21st century skills like critical thinking and creativity we chose ‘Gross Motor Skills’ as the basis for all our races. These skills require eye-hand coordination along with whole body movement and involving the large muscles of the body to perform everyday functions, such as standing and walking, running and jumping, and even sitting upright at the table.
